History
The Morgan Public Library opened in 1939. The building was a gift to the City of Morgan from C.O. Gilfillan in honor of his father C.D. Gilfillan. The original building housed a library, museum, community room, and had bandstand. The current library is still located in the same spot, but has had an addition added to the building. The building still houses the library, museum, and community room. The bandstand is still on the building, but unfortunately is no longer usable.
