Policies
Please be courteous to others when using your cell phone in the library.
Books, audio books, music CDs, games, puzzle, RPG kits, kits, DVD boxed sets, and cooking materials all can be checked out for three weeks.
DVDs, Blu-Rays, video games, Hot Spots, and Library of Things items all can be checked out for one week.
There currently are no fines on books, unless they are not returned. In the case a book is not returned to the library, the patron will cover the cost of the book to be replaced.
Fines on audio books and music CDs are $0.25 per day.
Fines on DVDs, Blu-Rays, DVD boxed sets, and video games are $1.00 per day.
Fines on games, puzzles, RPG kits, kits, cooking materials are $0.05 per day.
Fines on Hot Spots are $5.00 per day.
30-minute time limit if someone is waiting, librarian reserves the right to limit your usage.
Monetary donation policy – any monetary donation should be brought to the library director.
Material donations policy – we accept donations that are in good condition, librarian reserves right to decide what is done with the donation.
Any closings will be posted on the Morgan Public Library Facebook page and our library website.
The librarian has the right to ask you to leave the premises.
Meeting room reservations are free to the public. Contact the library director prior to your event to reserve your time and to pick up keys. Room must be maintained and cleaned after your event, with key left in the drop box. We expect all users to be respectful of the space of the library and the museum. Borrowers are responsible for any expenses due to damages.

Black and white copies are $0.15 a page. Colored copies are $0.30. Patrons can make their own copies, or the librarian can make them.
All your information will be kept private. Your private information will not be every given to any third party.

Librarian has right to remove out of date material.
Be respectful of property and employees. If any damage is caused, breaker is liable for damages.
When using the library or attending library programming you are consenting to being photographed or videoed, unless otherwise stated, and be used for the Morgan Public Library social media and website.
Please contact the library director if you are interested in volunteering at our library.
Our library weeds material that has not been checked out for 5 years, as needed.
